It’s legit Italian leather ladies. The real stuff. The kind of stuff you have to travel 8,000 miles across the damn globe to find (I seriously flew over the “FROZEN PLANET”). The kind of stuff that makes you wish the airlines didn’t have outrageous baggage limits. The kind of stuff that makes you thank the good lord every day that your boyfriend is from Italy and can barter down prices so that you can buy the purse in every color, then pay for two of them for you (because this is the only reason I keep @andrezannoni around. Oh and he’s also my photographer – LOL).
If you’ve ever been to an Italian market, you know how overwhelming it can be – people everywhere, tons and tons of vendors, no english and the unrelenting urge to buy every dang piece of leather in the market. For example, this setup is just one of the many leather goods vendors I perused:I clearly didn’t buy all of those fine looking leather bags, but I did walk away with a nice handful of purses for my lucky, Lucky, LUCKY girl friends (and myself-duh). Take a look my friends, take a look…
In case you’re wondering, I’m the proud owner of the grey purse in the front, the big navy blue purse in the back middle, the bright blue clutch in the middle and the red one on the far right. And for those of you eyeing out the other gorgeous italian leather bags, they’ve all fell into the loving hands of a few of my fabulous friends! But don’t think I didn’t have a little alone time with them before they were delivered to their new homes!
Alas, the purses left my loving hands, but I’m sure they’re all doing just fine with their new mommies.
P.S. As a result of the extreme euphoria these purses cause, I’m highly considering an Italian leather import business here in Hawaii. I mean every girl deserves to feel good and look good. And what better way to do it than to tote around una bellissima borsa (beautiful bag) that doesn’t break the bank?!
